David is an experienced Recruitment Professional with a deep knowledge of industry leading Recruitment Practices across the Asia Pacific region. David has over 15 years recruiting experience and has worked across all levels of recruitment from campus hiring to C Level search and selection.
David started his career working in an external Recruitment Agency environment and after 3 years moved to an RPO model (Recruitment Processing Model) supporting Hewlett Packard in Victoria, Australia though Manpower. While working on site at HP David helped grow the Managed Services Unit during a period of sustained growth and was instrumental in rolling out a fixed price-costing model for HP’s Break/Fix Business.
In 2006 David joined Oracle’s Asia Pacific Recruitment Team initially focusing on sourcing candidates for a range of positions in Australia. David led the implementation of Oracle’s internal recruitment services into New Zealand and also helped in establishing our internal recruitment function in the Philippines. David is currently working as Asia Pacific Campus Manager for all Oracle’s campus hiring needs in the region. In this role he has introduced a number of new measures to streamline internal processes, better position Oracle in the campus market and create a better candidate experience.
David has a Bachelor’s Degree from Laurentian University and also a Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources from Monash University. In his work, David has developed a complete view of the rapidly changing recruitment environment. He is able to advise on various strategies such as candidate attraction, online sourcing, employment branding and search and selection.
