Resting at the foot of Gragareth, Lancashire’s highest peak, and a stone’s throw from the meandering River Lune, Hipping Hall has been a feature of this beautiful landscape for the last 350 years.

You get a true sense of place from this enigmatic building, lovingly restored and re-imagined to reflect its surroundings.

At every turn Hipping Hall pays homage to the high fells, rivers and streams, woods and meadows that surround it…

Head Chef, Oli Martin’s daily changing menus are inspired by the amazing produce coming from the three counties that surround us; Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria.

The interiors also offer up a true sense of place, from the locally crafted ceramics used in the restaurant, the fabrics adorning the beds and framing the windows, the hand-crafted paint pigments used on the walls, to the luxurious locally produced products used by our guests.

At every turn you get a sense of belonging, a sense of place…
